Roasted Pumpkin Seeds



Roasting pumpkin seeds couldn't be easier.  Here are some delicious ways to spice up your seeds from that carved pumpkin!

Sugar & Spice

  • 6 tbl sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Spicy Seeds
  • 3 tbl sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
Spiced Maple Seeds
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbl maple syrup
For all these varieties, mix together and coat seeds.  Roast according to Maddies original toasted seed instructions.

If you really want to get fancy try this one out!

Mexican Pesto
  • 1/4 hulled pumpkin seeds
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1/4 cup grated cotija cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 Serrano chile pepper, seeded
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 6 tbl olive oil
Blend together in food processor until smooth.
